Walking Programs

Walk with a Doc
This free program promotes regular physical activity by offering group walks with a family doctor. Each session starts with a 10 minute health talk from a family doctor, which is followed by a one hour walk.

Calgary and Cochrane Walking Programs
The Calgary and Cochrane Walking Programs are peer led programs that promote healthy lifestyles and active living within a safe and social environment. Participants can also take part in monthly activities at various locations in Calgary.

Why Walk?

Regular exercise such as walking:
